What about protein?

We all know protein is important in weight loss and post-op surgery diet plans. However, there are many misconceptions about the amounts we need and the sources that are acceptable.  As I was preparing for our past two support groups on “Protein is Power”, I found myself hitting up my college text books for a review of protein metabolism and was reminded of how complex protein really is.
